VentureLedger Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using VentureLedger (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VentureLedger is a bookkeeping and invoicing tool that helps individuals manage financial records across multiple business ventures, including invoicing, financial reporting, and related features.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use VentureLedger.

4. Account Registration

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

5. Free Tier and Limits

VentureLedger currently offers a free tier limited to 2 ventures per account. We may introduce paid plans or adjust limits in the future; we will communicate any such changes in advance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
• Enter false, fraudulent, or misleading invoice or financial information intended to deceive a third party
• Misuse the invoice-sharing feature to send spam or harass recipients

7. Your Data and Content

You retain ownership of the financial and business data you enter into VentureLedger ("Your Data"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Data solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Invoice Sharing Feature

The Service lets you generate shareable public links for invoices. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the invoice information and for controlling who receives these links. We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from links you choose to share.

9. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

VentureLedger is a bookkeeping tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of your own financial records and for complying with the tax and accounting laws that apply to you.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VentureLedger and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or financial loss.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

13. Changes to the Service or These Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Liberia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Liberia.
