VentureLedger ("we," "us," "our") provides bookkeeping and invoicing software that helps individuals manage financial records across multiple ventures. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have regarding that information.

• Venture and financial data you enter: company/venture names, chart of accounts, transactions, invoices, and related financial records.
• Client/customer information you enter for invoicing: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses of your customers or clients.
• Usage data: how you interact with the app (features used, pages visited).
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and device information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate VentureLedger.
• To generate the invoices, reports, and financial summaries you request.
• To send service-related communications, including invoice share links you initiate.
• To maintain and improve the app.
• To comply with applicable legal obligations.

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We share data only with service providers who help us operate VentureLedger (such as hosting and email delivery providers), under confidentiality obligations.
• Shared invoice links: the "Share" feature generates a link that gives access to that invoice's details to anyone who has the link. You are responsible for sharing these links only with your intended recipients.
• We may disclose information if required to by law.

4. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

• Correct inaccurate data
